What Is Dry Salt Therapy
Dry Salt therapy is one of two types of Halo therapies that involves breathing in medical-grade salt particles to remove pathogens and break up mucus that forms in your respiratory system.
The science was discovered in early 1800 Poland when salt minors noticed that they never caught colds, had no allergies, and maintained no lung infections.

Benefits of dry salt halo therapy include but are not limited to:

Given this, you can use dry salt halo therapy to treat:

Side effects of Dry Salt Therapy
Often, when you experience dry salt therapy you may cough or get a runny nose. Though it may be uncomfortable, it's a good sign that the salt is in action helping break up the trapped pathogens and mucus lodged in your lungs, (we got you covered with a tissue).
How a Dry Salt Therapy Session Works
As pictured above, our dry salt room includes two chambers (so you can bring a friend). It involves a small fan with salt in it that circulates the salt into and around the chamber so you can inhale the salt in a concentrated area. The concentrated area allows for less treatment time, though if you're closter phobic, we love to shout out our friends at Salt Remedy for a larger treatment space (though it involves a longer treatment time).
Walk-ins for the salt booths are always welcome at Mystical Charms Wellness Center and for $25 you can't go wrong. Try it for yourself!
